Anita K. Anthony

Anita K. Anthony received a Bachelor of Arts in Letters and a law degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 1986 and 1989, respectively. Anita began her career in the Norman City Attorney's Office, where she concentrated on property law cases, including zoning, eminent domain actions, and property condemnations. She also worked with general litigation, workers' compensation, and municipal criminal prosecution. Since that time, Anita has continued to work in property law with an emphasis on energy, writing oil and gas drilling and division order opinions and providing counsel to energy companies regarding leasing, revenue distribution, acquisition and divestiture of property interests, and related matters.

Anita is admitted to practice in Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado, and Illinois, all by examination, and Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma by motion. She is a member of the Tulsa County and Oklahoma Bar Associations and has served on the boards of the Energy and Natural Resources Sections of both. She is also a member of the Oklahoma Title Examination Standards Committee.
